Go Math!: Working with Small Groups

Using small groups within your math instruction can help you to better meet the needs of all of your learners. Small groups allow both for useful discussion and provide you with an opportunity to re-teach foundational skills that your students may be struggling with. 

In this activity, use Go Math! with your students in a small group setting. Describe how you set the lesson up and how the students worked in the session. What one thing would you change if you were to repeat this lesson and name one thing you found interesting about how using the small groups aided your lesson objectives.
