EDJOIN: My Profile and the Applicant Bank

56 Learners | 56 Completed Lessons | 9 Hours of Learning Time

Learning Activity

An EDJOIN profile is required if you wish to apply for a position (not if you only want to search for positions). Information from your profile will auto-populate into the EDJOIN online application when you apply for a position. Having an incomplete profile will result in your having to re-type the information into a new application each time you apply for a different position.

The applicant bank allows all school districts, county offices of education, and public/private educational agencies using EDJOIN to search for potential candidates based on information in the users profile. It is basically another way for a jobseeker to get noticed by a potential employer. When you create an account in EDJOIN, your profile will automatically be placed into the ED-JOIN Applicant Bank where it will be accessible to all school districts, county offices of education and public/private educational agencies using EDJOIN. If you DO NOT want your profile added to the Applicant Bank, please check the box on the right of the “My Info” page in your profile that states “Exclude My Profile From The EDJOIN Applicant Bank”.
