Chromebook: Help Students get Started
Learning Activity
Using technology in the classroom is a big responsibility -- for teachers and students. Give your students a strong foundation to work from by teaching them how to use their Chromebooks, and helping them find the apps they need.
Create a lesson or activity that introduces students to their Chromebooks and the tools they'll use throughout the school year. (Use the resources as needed to get started.)
What you teach your students will depend on their current level of familiarity with the Chromebook. Consider teaching students:
- How to use the camera to take videos for learning activities
- How to locate, login, and use apps
- How to organize their learning materials on the Chromebook
- Your expectations for appropriate use (visiting websites, downloading applications, etc.)
