Newsela Certified Educators are educators who have a deep understanding of how Newsela works and how to use the instructional content platform for different instructional purposes. Walk away with up to 5 hours of professional learning credit and access to our community of educators. 

And, all teachers that complete the course who do not currently have access to a paid Newsela subscription will be eligible to claim free premium access for one full year to the full suite of products: Newsela ELA, Newsela Social Studies, and Newsela Science

Through the certification you’ll learn how to:

• design article and Text Set assignments for lessons and unit planning
• analyze assignment trends and student insights in the teacher Binder
• collaborate and share resources with other Newsela teachers
