Learning Activity

Students log in to Newsela to view articles, instructions and related assignments in Newsela. Students can use write prompts, complete quizzes and choose what they would like to read in Newsela to support their reading goals.

Students to track their own progress with the Student Binder, which can be accessed when students click on the Binder menu. In the Your Progress section, students can see how they are progressing with their reading levels. Students can filter by the date, the different classes they're in, as well as by language. They can also identify their average Article Lexile Level, average quiz score, and the number of quizzes they've taken.
