Generative AI is a subfield AI that creates new data from scratch, similar to content that can be produced by humans. Unlike traditional search engines, the responses produced by AI-powered tools like ChatGPT and Google Bard, are original, pulling information from across the internet and distilling it into its own conversational language.
ChatGPT, Google Bard, and other AI-powered Chatbot tools can be used to find information, answer questions, or engage in conversation.
Examples of generative AI include:
Art and music generation: Algorithms can generate new pieces of art, such as paintings or music, based on patterns or styles identified in existing works.
Text generation: AI can be used to create new pieces of text, such as news articles, poetry, or even entire books.
Video and image generation: AI can be used to generate new images or videos, such as creating realistic animations or enhancing existing footage.
