Every time you create a new class, Classroom generates a corresponding calendar. This calendar, available to your students, automatically populates with assignment due dates. You can use the calendar for more than just assignments: use it to post field trips, events, holidays, etc. You can group, label and color-code events, and toggle their view on and off.
