The Devereux Student Strengths Assessment (DESSA) is a "nationally-normed behavior rating scale designed to assess social-emotional competencies of children and youth in grades K-8" (Devereux Center for Resilient Children). The results of this assessment allow educators to provide learners individualized instructions, interventions and supports that they need to succeed.
