Learning Activity

The learning gap is at its heart, the difference in what students are expected to have learned versus what they have actually learned to date. Whilst there may always be a learning gap that exists within the school system as a result of a range of socio-economic and other factors, this gap has been compounded by the events of 2020 and 2021.

What is important is that educators must attempt to close the gap through a variety of strategies and techniques. In this activity, you will explore a number of ways to help close the learning gap both from a general perspective but also bearing in mind the impact and potential longer-term effects of COVID.
