Learning Activity

"Seesaw Blogs are a simple way to showcase the amazing work students are doing in the classroom with the broader community. Blogging gives students an authentic audience of their classmates, parents, and other students around the globe, encouraging better work and providing opportunities for real feedback."

Explore some of the Seesaw Blog resources below to learn more about the Blog feature.

Once you've learned more about Seesaw blogs, do the following:

  1. Turn on the Blog for one of your Seesaw classes
  2. Visit the "Connected Blogs" list to find another class to connect with (outside of the district) & add your blog to the community
  3. Have students share their first item to your class blog (remember, using the blog feature means anyone in the world will be able to see & comment on that item, not just parents. This is a good time to reteach digital safety and citizenship).
  4. Have students leave a comment on an item on your "buddy class's" blog (or collaborate with the other teacher on another way to have your students' collaborate across classes).
