Sheets: Sort your Data and Create a Filter

Sorting and filtering your data makes it easier to see trends and block out extraneous information (without removing it from your dataset). This is a useful function if you're analyzing student survey responses, or identifying which students are falling below a certain grade.

• Use the sort feature to organize entire sheets, rows, or columns using specific parameters (ie. alphabetically or by numerical order)
• Use the filter feature to reorganize your data
• Use the filter view feature to reorganize your data without affecting it's original organization.
