iMovie: Adding a Green Screen Effect

2 Learners | 2 Completed Lessons | 1 Hour of Learning Time

Learning Activity

Adding a Green Screen effect video means that you can make it look as if you are presenting in front of any image, you could be reporting from the beach, from the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, or perhaps in front of the Empire State building.

Watch the video and learn how to create this effect in iMovie. You will need to first record a short selfie video in front of a green or blue screen - you can use green/blue paper on the wall behind your head like in the video or you could hang a sheet behind you during your selfie video.

Once you have created the selfie video, apply the steps in the resource video to create your very own Green Screen iMovie! Upload the finished iMovie file under Record Achievement.
