Incorporating mindfulness into everyday classroom activity is becoming more. Daily mindfulness practices can help to reduce stress and anxiety in your students, increase concentration and engagement and improve social skills. But mindfulness doesn't have to occur within the walls of your classroom. In this activity you will learn more about using mindfulness in an outdoor setting to further benefit your students.

Explore the resources and then write a 5+ sentence reflection on your thoughts on the benefits of using mindfulness. How do you think practicing mindfulness outside can help engage students more with its benefits? What 2 things did you take away from these resources on mindfulness in an outdoor settings? Do you already practice mindfulness with your students already? If so describe how you go about doing so and will you try incorporating an outdoor setting going forward?
