Canvas: Make an Assignment
Learning Activity
Assignments are where students can submit work.
- You control the point value.
- Students can submit: text entry; website URL; media recording; a file upload.
- You can assign the assignment to the whole class, a group of students, or an individual student.
- You can set the date and time that the assignment will be available and due. This can vary based on student, or group.
To create an assignment, click on Assignments on the course navigation.
- Then click on +Assignment.
- The next step is to fill out the necessary fields.
- You can also create an assignment from the Modules tab.
