Canvas Templates can be accessed through Commons. The Filter allows you to search for Templates in the Commons community.

Templates can be created for courses with content or for course organization. Canvas provided two free course organization templates. One course is suited for K-5 and the other course is suited for grades 6-12. You can choose to use a template or you can create your own course with organization that fits the needs for your classroom.

Copy a template to your Sandbox and experiment with it. Try adding some information/content to it and decide if it will work for your needs.
