Classroom Resources - Activity 3: Implement
Learning Activity
Now that you have finished researching and preparing to include existing NGSS-aligned resources to your classroom, it is time to take the next step: Implementation. Use the resource(s) in your classroom according to the plan that you created. Pay close attention to your and your students’ experiences with the resource(s) and write a reflection (at least 5 sentences) about your experience implementing NGSS resources into your classroom.
Make sure your reflection answers at least 3 of the following questions:
- How did you go about implementing the resource(s)?
- What goal(s) did you set at the beginning of the activity and did you meet or exceed these goal(s)?
- What did you need to take into consideration when implementing the resource(s)?
- How did your students react to the resource(s)?
- Knowing what you know now, what would you do the same way and what would you do differently when implementing NGSS classroom resources?
